Two upcoming PhD defences at QuSoft

We cordially invite you to attend the PhD thesis defences of René Allerstorfer on October 28th and Chen Yanlin on November 21st, 2024.

René Allerstorfer will defend his thesis titled Position-based Quantum Cryptography: From Theory towards practice. His Promotor is Harry Buhrman and the Co-Promotor Florian Speelman. The ceremony will take place on October 28th at 14:00 in the Agnietenkapel, University of Amsterdam.  There will also be a livestream available at this link.

Yanlin Chen (Promotor: Ronald de Wolf, Co-Promotor: Māris Ozols) will defend his thesis titled On Quantum Algorithms and Limitations for Convex Optimization and Lattice Problems. His Promotor and Co-promotor are Ronald de Wolf and Māris Ozols respectively. The ceremony will take place on November 21st at 10:00 in the Agnietenkapel, University of Amsterdam. Livestream at this link.
